    28 August 2006<br />PRESS RELEASE by Joseph Nyagah<br />FORGOTTEN AND IGNORED CRITICAL LAWS ON CORRUPTION<br />For sometime, now I have been thinking about the best ways of bringing the<br />corruption related enquiries to an end and let the country have a fresh start. For far<br />too long we have all accepted that corruption is a cancer that we must all fight. We<br />have taken many measures, supposedly to fight corruption. These have included<br />setting up of many institutions such as KACC; passing appropriate laws; public<br />awareness programmes; training programmes among others. But in spite of all<br />these, corruption continues. We seem to have established a deep rooted culture of<br />corruption in our country.
