Alico Kenya has been feeling rather bullish lately.
Perhaps it is Because of the new manager director, Gerald Eaton (pictured).
One of East Africas largest insurance companies, Alico Kenya has been the market for the Mr Eaton last 41 years, and is now a 100 per cent, Kenyan owned firm.
Mr Eaton, who has long and varied career within the insurance industry in the UK and East Africa, takes over from Mr Erwin Brewster. Eaton says that the local ownership of the company will benefit the economy, as more of the funds and profits generated by its life business would now be kept within Kenya and invested in the Kenyan economy.
